This module introduces the 2006 edition of the Approved Documents for Part L of the Building Regulations Conservation of Fuel and Power'. In this module, we will see how separate documents came to be created for different types of work and the thinking behind that decision. We will also take a closer look at the rationale and drivers behind the changes in this edition of the Regulations. After completing this module you will: - appreciate the need for the conservation of fuel and power; - understand how the government is effecting necessary changes; - have an in-depth understanding of Part L1A; and- see how it is applied to individual cases.
